Book a volunteer event with Charlie’s FreeWheels!

Charlie’s receives donations of used bicycles from individuals, the city, condos, among other sources. We can’t use every bike, or every part on every donated bicycle. This is where you come in! Volunteers will learn more about bike mechanics from our team and will receive support and guidance through various hands-on activities at our workshop. 

It’s a great opportunity to learn more about bike mechanics, get your hands dirty, and support Charlie’s FreeWheels. 

We are able to host 3-4 hour events outside of our regular program hours throughout the year. We request a donation of $75-$100 per volunteer for each event.  This covers costs associated with the event and also enables Charlie’s to continue to provide youth with FREE access to our community programs throughout the year.
